The Japan Association of Professional Garden Designers was established in 2001 to meet the growing needs of all designers in a relatively new world of garden design here in Japan.
The association caters for anyone involved in garden design, but less to do with traditional Japanese garden and more to do with changing architectural styles and the changing lifestyles of the Japanese population.
The founding members of the association are Kazushige Sunaga, Hiroshi Tamazaki, Fumiko Akimoto and Stuart Axtell.
If you would like any further information about the association or anything related to garden design in Japan, please don't hesitate to contact Stuart Axtell, an Englishman working in Japan
